Q: What is the Tesla Expo 2025? 

A: Tesla Expo 2025 is a public celebration of science, technology, and innovation inspired by Nikola Tesla. The event features hands-on exhibits, electric vehicles, robotics, renewable energy displays, and an electrifying drone light show. All designed to inspire the next generation of inventors. 

Q: When and where is the event?  

A: The Expo will be held on July 12, 2025, from 5:00–9:00 PM at 5 Randall Road, Shoreham, NY, on the historic grounds of Nikola Tesla’s last remaining laboratory. 

Q: Is there an entry fee?  

A: The event is low-cost, with a focus on accessibility for all. Some premium activities or vendor goods may have individual costs. 

Q: What makes the Drone Light Show special?  

A: Our drone show, powered by Sky Elements, is a 100% electric, zero-emissions spectacle designed as a sustainable alternative to fireworks. It pays tribute to Tesla’s invention of the teleautomaton—history’s first remote-controlled device—and lights up the night sky in celebration of his 169th birthday.  

Q: Why are drones being used instead of fireworks?  

A: Traditional fireworks can harm the environment, disturb wildlife, and pose risks to human health. Our drone show offers a breathtaking, climate-conscious alternative that aligns with Nikola Tesla’s vision of innovation in harmony with nature. Tesla, a pioneer of technology, also had a deep love for the natural world, especially birds. In his later years, he found peace feeding pigeons in New York City parks. For Tesla, nature was more than inspiration, it was a source of beauty, comfort, and emotional connection.  

Q: What kinds of exhibits will be at the Expo?  

A: Interactive exhibits span robotics, renewable energy, space exploration, electric vehicles, radio tech, and more. You’ll also find makerspaces, Tesla Coils, anime + STEAM clubs, and VR experiences that make science fun for people of all ages.  

Q: Is this event good for kids and families?  

A: Absolutely! We’ve designed the Expo to be immersive and hands-on, with eco-engineering workshops, kid-friendly exhibits, and plenty of educational fun for the whole family.

A: On site parking is limited, but there parking attendants will be on-site to point you to the right direction. Please follow posted signs and directions on arrival.

A: Yes, with some limitations. Our team is committed to providing an inclusive experience. The event takes place on open grass areas, which may present challenges for some mobility devices.
